The Canadian Blood and Marrow Transplant Group (CBMTG) is a member-led, national, multidisciplinary organization; the association provides strategic leadership that results in excellence in clinical care, research and education within the Canadian blood and marrow transplant field.

The vision of the Canadian Blood and Marrow Transplant Group is:

To be an international leader in blood and marrow transplant care, research and education.
To be a multidisciplinary organization that simultaneously promotes the development of individual disciplines whilst encouraging inter-disciplinary communication, collaboration and practice.
To be a vehicle for communication amongst its membership.
To have a productive clinical trials program.
To have a relevant educational program that meets the needs of its membership.
To embrace technology to support its mission, vision and goals.

Our Goals

The goals of the Canadian Blood and Marrow Transplant Group are:

To provide leadership in the field of Canadian blood and marrow transplant.
To promote communication amongst our members.
To promote interdisciplinary efforts.
To advance excellence in clinical care.
To promote basic, translational and clinical research, to develop educational programs for its members and patients.
To represent Canadian BMT to government agencies, health care organizations and the public.
To have a streamlined, efficient administrative infrastructure.
To develop strategic partnerships with organizations that support CBMTG's mission.
To obtain and manage resources necessary for the organization to achieve its goals.
To advocate on behalf of BMT healthcare workers and their patients.
