CBMTG Multidisciplinary Committee

As a result of the CBMTG Strategic Planning Session, the CBMTG Executive Committee created a new Committee called the ‘Multidisciplinary Working Group’. This Committee is responsible for representing the numerous disciplines represented in the CBMTG membership.

The goal of the CBMTG Multidisciplinary Committee is to increase involvement and networking of all professionals in the BMT field by promoting:

    • Benefits of CBMTG membership

    • Networking and dialog of multidisciplinary BMT experts

    • Encouraging participation in CBMTG Committees

The committee has been very busy providing input into the new CBMTG website, discussion boards and new webinar program. The committee is also very active in promoting CBMTG membership.

Chair:

Marie Tulloch, MLT


Marie started her career as a lab helper in the component production lab of the Canadian Red Cross in 1985. After graduating as a laboratory technologist in 1998 she returned to the Red Cross and then accepted a position as with the Manitoba Blood and Marrow Transplant Program in 1993.

As a senior technologist in the cellular therapy lab and under the general direction of the laboratory director and CT lab charge technologist Marie is responsibilities for quality assurance and the continued development of the quality assurance program.
