The 11th Biennial Meeting of the Canadian Blood and Marrow Transplant Group will take place April 9-12, 2008 at Le Centre Sheraton Hotel in Montreal, Quebec.
Conference Program:
The Conference Planning Committee, led by co-chairs Dr. Sandra Cohen and Dr. Ahmed Galal, is finalizing an exciting program that will feature presentations on the latest developments in BMT patient care, clinical research and laboratory research. The program will address complications of autologous and allogeneic transplant and other disease-specific sessions. The format for the 2008 CBMTG Conference will include scientific plenary sessions, keynote presentations, multidisciplinary and discipline-specific sessions, oral research presentations, committee and society meetings and corporate satellite sessions. All presentations will be in English.

Expected Attendance:
Building on the success of past conferences, CBMTG 2008 promises to be the primary Canadian conference in the field of blood and marrow transplantation. 350 delegates are expected to attend from Canadian and international BMT programs, representing hematology, oncology, bone marrow specialists, nursing, pharmacy, and laboratory research. Conference registration is open to members and non-members.
